                      Okay,
that was a lame gag to get you to look at this page, of
course I haven't suddenly come into money and bought a
genuine red frame Sport, but I did manage to scrape together
20 euros to buy this very cool model from a guy in Palermo,
Sicily, who was advertising it on the Italian E-Bay site.
                      I've
seen these around and wanted to get one, but I'm pleased
to get it in its original box, in great condition. Polistil
were (and maybe still are) a famous model manufacturer
in the 70s, and this model comes from the mid-70s. Detailing
is ok, not superb, after all it was a mass-produced model,
and it even has a Milan numberplate! (easier than getting
an Italian plate for my Guzzi then). On the back of the
box you get the tecnical spec of the bikes; 736cc, is
this right?? 'Break' horse power is quoted at 50HP, number
                        of gears is '4'.....
                      Worth
having though, I can't take it out of the box as it has
it's original little plastic seal which I want to leave
intact. Also comes with weird plastic funnel thing, for
                        displaying it on (not shown).
                      Mind
you, I might take it out and respray it like a proper
                        bike like the S3....
                      -
ANYONE ELSE GOT ANY GUZZI MODELS?? I'LL PUT THEM ON THIS
                        PAGE -
